Cross your fingers! At the end of this week, the decision will be made, which cities will obtain an additional assistance for the in total five regional hubs. This additional assistance is part of the Digital Economy in NRW. Hubs support the networking of start-up companies and medium-sized IT enterprises with the manufacturers and service providers through concrete arrangements. Hereby, the business situation in the Münsterland is further improved.

As a prelude, the supporters and project partners met at the GWS today, to exchange first ideas and to make the digital community of our region visible. The participants came from the digital world of start-ups, manufacturers, medium-sized companies, various institutions and politics.

Mayor Markus Lewe highlighted in his speech that pushing forward the future competitiveness of the region was of great importance for the city of Münster and the Münsterland. “Münster has great interest in this project, since there are many creative minds which are full of power and need to be supported and enabled”, explained Lewe. “We want to be detected as a region full of digital innovation. This means, in essence, to have desire for the future and to be faster than the others.”
