Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central has been announced as a further development of Dynamics NAV in 2018. What does that mean now for existing customers or new customers who are interested in the product Microsoft Dynamics NAV? The Dynamics NAV series will be continued in 2019 under a new name, namely Dynamics 365 Business Central, and it will be replaced on 1 April 2019. The service level will be continued by today’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018.
So, why is there a new name then? The appearance of Dynamics 365 Business Central will be renewed with a new look, if you want to use Business Central in a Cloud solution only. The actual structure stays the same, but through a new appearance in the Windows or Web Client, the surface appears even better structured and important functions are shown even clearer. Business Central can be operated in the Cloud just as well as on premise.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses or major companies with medium-sized structures, consisting of decentral and manageable forms with a focus on the domestic market and German-speaking foreign countries. The user focus is on the selection and use of a highly functioning, standardised and parameterised sector solution with a sustainable further development.
